Mental Health Training highlights from Mental Health Awareness Week

At West Central London Mind, we believe that mental health awareness shouldn’t be confined to a single week, but Mental Health Awareness Week is always a powerful opportunity to connect, reflect, and equip people with the tools they need to support themselves and others.

This year, our Mental Health Trainer, Maneet Relom-Beckham, made a huge impact. Over the course of the week, she delivered training sessions to 237 individuals across a range of organisations, including the Serious Fraud Office, Albacore Capital, Nord Anglia Education and Deecon Consulting.

Whether participants were attending for professional development or personal insight, they left the sessions feeling informed, empowered, and inspired to support mental wellbeing in their teams and communities.

Feedback from the sessions speaks volumes:

Really great lunchtime reminder of our shared humanity and challenges!

Thoroughly enjoyed sharing and learning about myself and others.

Great insightful session with excellent delivery.

A thoroughly enjoyable session!

The session was very helpful and interactive and Maneet was very engaging.

Great insights and very interactive. Maneet always very friendly and great to listen to!

The session was very useful. The engagement and tone/pace of the facilitator really made the session impactful.

The sessions explored topics such as Managing Stress & Preventing Burnout, Suicide Awareness & Prevention, 5 Ways to Wellbeing, Sleep Hygiene, Digital Resilience and Managing Anxiety & Low Mood. Our incredible mental health trainer, Maneet, shared her experience of the week:

Mental Health Awareness Week was an incredible chance to connect with so many people across different industries. I was struck by the openness and curiosity of participants, and how much people really value taking care of themselves and each other. My sessions are about creating a space where people can be real, reflect, and leave with tools they can use right away, and the feedback we received showed just how powerful that can be.

While Mental Health Awareness Week is a moment in the calendar, mental health is year-round. Our Mental Health Training is designed to support organisations of all sizes and sectors, with sessions that can be tailored to meet the needs of your teams, whether you’re looking to build resilience, support leadership, or create a more mentally healthy culture across your organisation.
