What is Walk and Talk?

Walk and Talk is one of our Community Wellbeing Programmes. It is a free, weekly walking group designed to support your mental and physical health, reduce feelings of isolation, and help you connect with your local area and with others.

Each walk explores a different part of London, from peaceful parks, scenic canals, and hidden gardens to local museums and galleries.

Throughout 2025, we’ll be running six tailored groups, each led by two trained facilitators with lived experience. Walks will last around two hours and be shaped by the group from green spaces and historic landmarks to community venues and cultural spots.

Upcoming groups for 2025:

  1. Walk and Talk for 50+
  2. Young Carers Walk and Talk
  3. Walk and Talk for Guardians & Carers to Under Twos
  4. LGTBQIA+ Young Adults Walk and Talk
  5. Walk, Talk, Get Active (Improving physical health for mental health)
