Proud to Partner: WCL Mind Approved as NHS Framework Supplier

West Central London Mind is proud to announce that we have been appointed as a supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Framework: Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism: Assessment and Diagnosis, NHS Talking Therapies and Crisis Services.

As mental health challenges continue to rise across the UK, the demand for timely and high-quality support has never been greater. Through this framework agreement, NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS Trusts, Foundation Trusts, local authorities, and combined authorities can now access a trusted network of suppliers, including voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) like West Central London Mind.

Together, we will help to reduce waiting times, increase service capacity, and ensure that more people can access the mental health support they need, when they need it.

Why This Matters

The need for transformation in mental health services is urgent:

  • 1 in 4 adults in the UK experience a mental health challenge
  • 1 in 10 children in the UK experience a mental health challenge
  • £300 billion – the annual cost of poor mental health to the UK economy

These figures highlight the scale of the challenge facing services today. At West Central London Mind, we work closely with primary care, community teams, and NHS services to deliver flexible, high-quality support that:

  • Eases pressure on waiting lists
  • Reduces hospital admissions
  • Improves outcomes for individuals and families

Following extensive research and market engagement NHS SBS is pleased to introduce our new Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism framework of which we understand the need and the urgency with this framework. Mental Health is very prevalent in the news and customers are contacting us regularly, with waiting lists also being referenced in the Long Term Plan, the NHS 2024/25 priorities and the Lord Darzi reports, so we are confident that the framework aligns with customer priorities and will be utilised.

Laura Goodwin, Category Manager, Health, NHS Shared Business Services.

We are proud to support the NHS Long Term Plan and the ambition to place mental health on an equal footing with physical health. Our services are community-based and tailored to the local needs of the people we serve across Brent, Wandsworth, Westminster, and Kensington and Chelsea.
